The Roma Medical 1473 Heavy Duty Self-Propelled Wheelchair has a double cross brace frame made from chromium plated steel providing a very strong and durable platform for the larger user, which makes this one of the strongest wheelchairs on the market, with a maximum user weight of 35 stone / 226kgs.

The 1473 features detachable swing away footrests with larger than usual footplates for added comfort as well as heel straps.  The desk arm rests are padded for extra comfort which are detachable for ease of transportation with a nylon cord seat and back.

The Roma 1473 has 24" (60cm) self-propelling mag puncture proof tyred rear wheels which helps to reduce wobble and bumps whilst the 20cm/8" front solid tyre swivel casts help with manoueverability.  This heavy duty self-propelling wheelchair also feature dual axles for hemi-height convertibility.
