The Roma Medical 1610 Self-Propelling Wheelchair is a very reliable and reasonably priced 18" self propelled wheelchair from Roma Medical. It has the basic level of features including detachable desk arms for ease of transfer and storage, a fold down back and swing away footrests with height adjustable heel loops.

This 1610 wheelchair has padded arm rests and a progressive braking system which also acts as a parking brake. The chair also features 60cm/24" self-propelling spoke puncture proof tyred rear wheels and 20cm/8" front wide profile p u tyre swivel castors.  The seat and back are vinyl upholstered which is flame retardant.

The Roma 1610 has also been crash tested to ensure it meets current criteria for a safe wheelchair and has a maximum user weight of 114kgs/250lbs.
