The Roma Medical 1485X Heavy Duty Car Tranist wheelchair has an attractive hammerite finish with additional loop cable brake mechanism on handles which provide extra control for the carer.  With its double cross-brace design for extra strength, and a nylon upholstered seat and back, this wheelchair has a maximum user weight of 32 stone / 204kg and dual axles for hemi-height convertibility.

The 1485X also features 8" x 2" (20cm x 5cm) front puncture proof tyred swivel castors and 12" (30cm) rear wheels and a seat width of 22" ((56cm) giving the user a more comfortable ride.  This wheelchair also has padded detachable arms and detachable swing away footrests with large footplate.  These footrests swing sideways and can be removed to create space, when not in use, or to allow easy movement in and out of the wheelchair.
